These pearls and crystal necklaces were strung from the strands sold at Oasis along with tiny gold or silver faceted seed beads.

Thousands of 3" tubes seed beads and Czech pressed glass beads await you and your imagination; take the afternoon to spend at the work table and bring your favorite CD. See close-ups of pressed glass beads at the bottom of the page.

Czech lampwork beads are made mostly by women at home in the evening after completing a full day working elsewhere. Oasis has about 20 boxes such as those shown here, organized by color and shape and carried in by Robin Atkins several years ago for her own bead shop, "Beads Indeed!", now a part of Oasis Bead Lounge.
Beads too large for tubes are housed in jars--price per bead on the jar. These beads are gathered from all over the world and provide focal points for pieces made with mostly smaller beads.

There are "artifacts" of polymer, to be incorporated or warn alone as pendants.

Strands of colorful Africa Trade Beads are so called because they were traded to Africa from Italy and eastern Europe throughout the past several hundred years.
|
A collection of very fancy lamp work beads made many glass bead artists from all over the country. These were purchased individually at bead shows over the last 10 years. Time to part with them.

Brass dangles, mostly from India, are great at the end of a pendant or earring. Oasis also has silver charms and dangles...although almost anything can be wired to dangle. Ask about the simple wire work class and dangle yourself crazy!

Polymer Millefiori beads in all shapes, sizes and color combinations. A delight to the eye and even more delightful to make--take a day off and go home with a bag of beads after taking the Millefiori class at Baby Island Lodge with Karen.

Labradorite from the feldspar family and found in Madagascar, is a favorite because of the interior flashing fire in colors ranging from purple, blue, green and gold. Sorry, can't photograph that aspect of this amazing stone.

Everyone loves amethyst. This large faceted stone is mounted as an earring.

See Stone Beads for more examples of your choices in stone beads. This Picture Jasper is a beautiful example of nature's patterns.

Brass is one of my favorite elements. These pieces are from India, Africa and the Middle East.
